1. во всю рысь ехать, идти и т.п. Also: НА ПОЛНЫХ РЫСЯХ (of a horse or a horse and its rider) (to move) at a gait between a walk and a canter in speed:

- (go) at a trot;

|| на всех (полных) рысях{{}}≈ at a full <fast> trot.

     ♦ Он тронул лошадь, скомандовал и в то же мгновение, услыхав за собой звук топота своего развёрнутого эскадрона, на полных рысях, стал спускаться к драгунам под гору (Толстой 6). He touched the horse, gave the command, and at the same instant, hearing the hoofbeats of his squadron deployed behind him, rode at a full trot down the hill toward the dragoons (6a).

2. во всю рысь бежать, мчаться, нестись и т.п. Also: ВО ВСЮ РЫСЬ all highly coll (of a person) (to run, race etc) at a relatively rapid or quite rapid pace (depending on the verb of motion used in conjunction with the idiom):

- at a good (fast, quick etc) pace;

- at a good clip;

- [the equivalent incorporates the verb of motion] trot (off <down the street etc>).

As we drove up to the line a guy with two bags of oranges popped out from around the corner and trotted off toward the front entrance-to celebrate his purchase, I guess (1a).
